MEET ACADEMIC NEEDS
The Florida Department of Education aims to ensure that the 2.8 million students it serves receive the instruction and resources they need to build bright futures. That includes supporting robust programs focusing on science, technology, mathematics, and engineering, so that young Floridians can carve out space in the competitive local and global job markets.
STEM and STEAM program facilitators are in high demand throughout the Sunshine State as lawmakers regularly push for a curriculum that prioritizes math and science content with real-world applications.
Stem Learning in Florida
The Florida DOE commits to providing high-quality education for students at all levels, with special emphasis on college and career readiness. To prepare for post-high school life, learners need opportunities to develop and test solutions to real-world problems in a safe, supportive classroom setting.
And with Florida’s vulnerable shorelines and lowlands, it’s more important than ever that today’s learners become tomorrow’s scientific and engineering innovators.
