“Students Innovate. The SmartLab Elevates.”

Written by Bill Laurienti

Rick Knotts, the Science Director at Prince of Peace Christian School tells us that “Students Innovate. The SmartLab Elevates” is the slogan for the SmartLab in this Carrollton, Texas’ school. Knotts continues to tell us:

The students in the SmartLab HQ are the only ones I know who ask for Ozobots, Spheros, Snap Circuits, and other building kits for Christmas and their birthday.

Todd Baringer, the Lower School Principal echos the enthusiasm learners have in the SmartLab HQ:

They want to stay in the SmartLab HQ through their classes, during lunch, during recess, and yes … we actually have to ask our students to leave the school because it’s time to go home. It’s as if we can’t keep our students out of the SmartLab HQ.
